PLA Announces Clinics

US Men's Team and Level 2 Clinics coming to Southeastern PA

The Philadelphia Lacrosse Association is proud to announce that two great lacrosse events are coming to the Philadelphia area in the coming months:

Sunday, October 25th: The 2010 United States Men's National Team will be hosting a clinic for youth and high school lacrosse players at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, 201 East Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

  • National team players and coaches will conduct a youth lacrosse clinic (players in 3rd to 8th grade) in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a high school lacrosse clinic (players in 9th to 12th grade) from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • The clinic is $55 per player. The proceeds are used to offset the cost of the National Team to travel to the World Championships in Manchester, England in July 2010. Players attending the clinic must be a member of U.S. Lacrosse and must bring their own equipment.
  • You can register at http://www.uslacrosse.org/events/mntclinics09.phtml.
  • Sponsorships are available and those interested can contact Tim Udinski.
Saturday, December 5th: U.S. Lacrosse will be conducting the first ever Level 2 Coaching Clinic in Pennsylvania at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA (www.go2ustc.com).
  • There will be separate clinics for both boy's and girl's lacrosse coaches. Coaches must have completed the U.S. Lacrosse Level 1 Coaches Certification to attend the Level 2 Coaching Clinic. The clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • You can register and learn more information about the curriculum at http://www.uslacrosse.org/cep/level2clinic.phtml.

Please forward this information to any coaches or parents in your lacrosse program who may be interested in attending these events.
