Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame --
 Chris Dent - 2003

Chris Dent has been a "truly great player" in Pennsylvania. Over the years he has been recognized as one of the best all time midfielders to come out of the Philadelphia area.

He was introduced to the game by PA Hall of Famer Norm Treinish in the Ashbee Youth Lacrosse program when he was in the 7th & 8th grades. He went on to star at Lower Merion High where he was a two time First Team All Central League and two time First Team All State Selection. In 1984, his senior year at Lower Merion, he led the "Aces" to a 17-1 record in winning the Central League and Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association Championships. For his championship season performance, Chris was selected as a High School All American and as the Central League's Most Valuable Player, and was also chosen to play in the National North-South Senior All-Star Game.

He went on to play college ball at Penn State. As a result of his stellar play for the Nittany Lions, Chris was twice recognized as a Division One All-American and played in the 1988 College North -South Senior All-Star Game. Chris' post collegiate play consisted of six years of club lacrosse with the Philadelphia MAB Paints Team and in 1989 and 1990, he played professional indoor lacrosse for Philadelphia Wings MILL Team. He was selected to the All Vail Tournament Team in 1987, and to the All Club Team in 1991.

For the past five years, Chris has been giving back to the game as a coach for the Ashbee Youth Lacrosse programs 7th & 8th grade A1 travel team.
