The mission of the Philadelphia Area Girls’ Lacrosse Association, a non-profit organization, is to promote the game of girls lacrosse in township recreation programs for girls up to eighth grade, by facilitating communication among all programs on coaching techniques, rules, umpires, game schedules and other lacrosse events.

These programs are sponsored by the PLA and are meant to be community leagues that introduce the game to girls as young as kindergarten in some areas. The goal of the PAGLA organization is to give anyone an opportunity to learn the game and play in a fun an competitive atmosphere. These are not the recruiting programs.

This website will provide you with all pertinent information regarding the youth programs throughout our region including upcoming clinics, officiating training, tournament and play days. Please visit their site for more information.

The PLA does not sponsor these teams as they are pay-to-play clubs that athletes must tryout for and pay a fee. These clubs are useful for athletes who aspire to play at the collegiate level as they provide recruiting opportunities throughout the year. These clubs are grouped together by high school graduation years for the purpose of recruiting. Youth players below 8th grade can play in their community recreation programs as well as these aspiring clubs. The following are a list of clubs in alphabetical order only that are in the area.
